The Wollongbar Public School difference
Restorative Justice Practices
Restorative justice practices empowers our students to resolve conflicts in a constructive manner, fostering a more harmonious and supportive school environment. As a result students develop critical social and emotional skills, including empathy, communication and conflict resolution.
Student Voice with Influence
At our school, we believe that every student deserves a voice in their education. Encouraging students to express their opinions and participate in decision making processes fosters a sense of ownership and responsibility in their learning environment. We are committed to creating a school environment where every student feels valued and heard.
Play, Connection and Belonging
We have four learning sessions during the day to allow for periods of play for our students. Regular play, especially free outdoor play, has a wide range of benefits to children's wellbeing and learning. We have a beautiful playground designed to encourage inclusive play.
